A woman washing clothes in a river in Barangay Mabatang in Abucay, Bataan has found a vintage fragmentation hand grenade, police said yesterday. Col. Rommel Velasco, Bataan police provincial director, citing reports reaching his office, said the grenade was found near Ray Hill bridge. He said the grenade could have been washed away due to heavy rain.The Bataan police explosives ordnance division said the woman found an MK2 hand grenade, which was used by Filipino and American forces during World War 2.
