An unexploded bomb found by a member of the public in Molesey today (Thursday) has been dealt with by police. The military ordinance was discovered on Avern Road in Molesey. Officers attended the scene after the alert was raised shortly before 1pm. The road was cordoned off for safety, and police looked at the item.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
