A construction crew in York County made a rather surprising discovery Monday afternoon. Northern York County Regional Police said a crew came across unexploded ordnance in the 500 block of Lewisberry Road in Conewago Township. Officers did not specify where the ordnance came from, but posted a photo of the shell to Facebook. Police and the Strinestown Fire Company secured the scene until the Pennsylvania State Police Ordnance Disposal Unit could handle the shell.
