Bomb disposal experts rushed out to Heywood after a ‘historic grenade’ was found on a residential street. Emergency services were called out to Glamis Avenue shortly before 2.30pm on Saturday (January 8). Greater Manchester Police says that officers discovered a suspected historic grenade when they arrived on the scene.
