Police have shut parts of two roads near the River Soar in central Leicester after reports a grenade was found in the water. Leicestershire Police has cordoned off parts of Western Boulevard and Upperton Road while the incident is dealt with, although the force has not confirmed the exact nature of the incident. It comes just days after magnet fishermen found a 10-inch mortar shell in the Soar, further down river near Belgrave Village on Tuesday.
