Bom mortar lama atau Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) ditemui berhampiran pintu masuk Rumah Seri Kenangan Taman Kemumin (RSKTK) di Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan pada Sabtu. Bom yang berukuran 40 sentimeter (cm) itu dijumpai oleh seorang pemandu jengkaut berusia 40-an ketika sedang menjalankan kerja-kerja penanaman kabel. Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Bharu, Asisten Komisioner Mohd. Rosdi Daud berkata, pihaknya menerima panggilan mengenai penemuan satu objek yang menyerupai bom pada pukul 12.30 tengah hari. Unit Pemusnah Bom telah bergegas ke lokasi kejadian dan mengesahkan objek berkenaan merupakan UXO jenis mortar 81mm yang sudah berkarat selain tiada sebarang tandaan. Bom tersebut berjaya dimusnahkan oleh Unit Pemusnah Bom dan Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Kelantan bersama Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kota Bharu.
