An unidentified object mysteriously exploded in the face of a young man in Ganta last week, killing him instantly. The incident, which occurred at about 9 a.m. on May 22, 2024, was met with bewilderment and confusion among the citizens about what caused the explosion. According to an eyewitness, the young man, only identified as Kolleh, was at a dumpsite, scavenging for scraps to sell. Unfortunately, he came across a cylindrical-shaped object, about 10 inches long. While trying to open it to extract the metal, it exploded and split his head, killing him instantly.
