Candole, a farmer in Barangay Tomado, was walking home at 6 p.m. from a drinking session in the village when the grenade on his pant’s front pocket fell to the ground.
“As the victim tried to pick it up, the grenade went off,” Abantes said. Responding village officials rushed him to the Aleosan District Hospital in Barangay Dualing. He was later moved to CRMC for further treatment.
