Three 80-year-old bombs discovered by rangers in a Queensland state forest might’ve been rusted on the outside, but they still went up with a bang. Ranger Ben Finnerty from the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service said rangers were patrolling the Bilwon state forest on the Tablelands and found the three 25-pound (11.3kg) bombs on October 23. Last year we had a series of firebreaks constructed through the Bilwon State Forest to assist with our fire management program,” Finnerty said.
