The area around the canal network in Horseley Fields was closed off as bomb disposal experts were called on Easter Monday. Officers from West Midlands Police were sent to the junction of the Birmingham Canal and Wyrley and Essington Canal after what appeared to be a mortar was found.

Città Wolverhampton, Quartiere Horseley Fields. Un magnetofolle munito di cima e magnete da un canale “pesca” una granata inesplosa. Sul posto giungono gli artificieri. Come si evince dalle foto il sito è a pochi metri dal fascio dei binari di una linea ferroviaria.
