Mitte. Auf einer Baustelle auf dem Gelände von Siemens Energy in Moabit ist eine Weltkriegsbombe entdeckt worden. Der Berliner Polizei zufolge handelt es sich dabei um einen 50 Kilogramm schweren Blindgänger amerikanischer Bauart mit zwei Zündern. Eine Entschärfung ist nicht möglich. Daher soll die Bombe am Montag, den 26. September 2022, gesprengt werden.
Auch von verrosteten Krieisrelikten und Waffen können noch Gefahren ausgehen. Beim Fund von Kriegsmaterial wird ein Sicherheitsabstand eingehalten und sofort die Polizei zu verständigen. Der Besitz von Kriegsrelikten ist laut Polizei allgemein verboten.
