In einem Wald bei Annweiler in der Südpfalz ist eine 250-Kilo-Bombe aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg gefunden worden. Der Blindgänger soll am Montag entschärft werden. Bis dahin gehe von der Bombe keine Gefahr für die Bevölkerung aus, so die Verbandsgemeinde Annweiler (Kreis Südliche Weinstraße). Sie liegt im Wald zwischen Rinnthal und Annweiler, ein Sicherheitsdienst bewacht den Fundort rund um die Uhr.

Auch von verrosteten Krieisrelikten und Waffen können noch Gefahren ausgehen. Beim Fund von Kriegsmaterial wird ein Sicherheitsabstand eingehalten und sofort die Polizei zu verständigen. Der Besitz von Kriegsrelikten ist laut Polizei allgemein verboten.
