London traffic service Jambuster said: “A301 Waterloo Bridge (SE1/WC2R) (Both Directions) The bridge has been closed following an emergency services incident. Traffic is being diverted away. Seek other routes.” The closure was initially suspected to have been the result of an unexploded World War 2 bomb being found in the area.
