A grenade was found inside a home in Northwest D.C. on Monday, according to authorities.

D.C. Police say their Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was called to 4535 Windom Place NW after the grenade was found inside the house.

EOD says the grenade was inert and there is no threat to the public.
