Nahukay ang hinihinalang mga vintage bomb o Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) sa isang excavation site sa Caloocan City, kamakalawa ng hapon. Ayon sa ulat, dakong alas-3:20 ng hapon nang madiskubre ang nasabing ERW sa loob ng Manila Central University Compound sa Morning Breeze St., Brgy. 84 ni Virgilio Lapitan, 44, welder na naging dahilan upang ipaalam sa Caloocan Police Sub-Station 5. Kaagad na rumesponde sa naturang lugar ang team ng Caloocan Police Station Explosive and Canine Unit (SECU) sa pangunguna ni PLt. Leo Limbaga, kasama sina PSSg Rowell Aguiling at PSSg Jojo Basquinas, kapwa EOD technician. Para ma-secure ang lugar, kinordonan ito nina PSSg Aguiling at PSSg Basquinas saka pinayuhan ang karamihan na maghanap ng ligtas na lugar bago sinuri ang status ng naturang UXO at isinagawa ang render safety procedure sa pamamagitan ng PUCA (Pick up and Carry away) kung saan narekober ang kinakalawang na tatlong unexploded ordnance at apat na exploded ordnance.
