The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced on Thursday the recovery of a number of unexploded shells from war remnants in the Aziziyah area, south west Tripoli.The Ministry explained through its Facebook account that a report was received from the Jafara Security Directorate about the presence of war remnants in a private 10 hectare-farm, after which Security Inspection and Explosives Dismantling Office team moved to the site to deal with the remnants. The Ministry further elaborated that after inspecting the place and identifying the type of explosives over a period of four continuous days by the specialized team, the waste was transferred to its designated place for destruction using standard safe procedures.
