Authorities recovered two unexploded ordnances in separate locations in Palawan over the weekend, September 21. The first unexploded projectile was found in the municipality of Quezon. The Palawan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) said a joint team from the Palawan Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (PECU), Quezon Municipal Police Station (MPS), and the 1st Palawan Mobile Force Company immediately responded after receiving a report about the explosive. The PECU identified the device as a Military Ordnance Hydra 07-275 INC Rocket. The projectile is currently under the custody of PECU for proper handling and disposal. Another unidentified explosive device was recovered from the river in Barangay Irawan, Puerto Princesa City, on Saturday afternoon.
