Police spokesperson, deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, said the military equipment, which includes a mortar, 74 rounds of live ammunition, 160 empty cartridges, five grenades and a mortar bomb fuse were found at a construction site between Eenhana and Okongo. Shikwambi said unexploded ordinances and landmines remain a concern, particularly in the northern parts of the country, and especially in former war zones. She urged members of the pubic in those areas to be careful at all times.
