A 100-metre cordon was put in place following the discovery of a suspected old and unexploded bomb at a property in Plymouth. Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were called to St Edward Gardens, in the Eggbuckland area, at around 2.30pm yesterday (April 16). Police closed a number of roads around Church Hill Road, Mayfair Crescent and Charfield Drive as a precaution. The cordon was put in place as officers waited for the Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team (EOD) to arrive.
