La circulation ferroviaire a été interrompue dans les deux directions, entre Charleroi-Sud et Nivelles, pendant deux heures lundi à la suite de la découverte d’un obus à proximité de la gare de Luttre (Hainaut), a indiqué à l’agence Belga un porte-parole d’Infrabel. L’obus a été découvert vers 12 h 45 lors de travaux menés par le gestionnaire de l’infrastructure à la sortie de la gare de Luttre en direction de Nivelles. Un périmètre a dès lors été établi et le service de déminage a été appelé à intervenir.
DOVO waarschuwt daarom voor het potentieel gevaar en raadt aan om de politie te contacteren bij aantreffen van deze of andere oorlogstuigen. “In dit geval gaat het om een afgevuurd projectiel met gewapend ontstekingsmechanisme. Elke aanraking of verplaatsing kan gevaarlijk zijn”, waarschuwt DOVO.
