Umuusok pa nang madiskubre ang isang vintage bomb sa Baseco, Port Area sa Maynila nitong Miyerkules. Sa ulat ng Manila Police District-Police Station 13, nangangalakal si Jan De Dul, tenant sa baseco Shipyard Corp. sa 2nd st, Yard 2 Engineering sa Barangay 649, Baseco, Port Area nang mapansin niyang may usok na nagmumula sa lupa bandang alas-tres ng tanghali. Nang maberipika niyang bomba ito, agad niyang pinuntahan ang security guard na si Rolly Estelloso para ipagbigay-alam ito. Inireport ito ni Estelloso sa MPD-PS13 na siyang tumawag sa MPD-District Explosive and Canine Unit(MPD-DECU) para sa kaukulang aksyon.
