An unexploded shell has been detonated on a North Wales beach to make it safe. Coastguard, police and Explosives Ordinance Disposal (EOD) experts were called in to deal with the explosive, which was discovered at Traeth Llanddwyn, on Anglesey yesterday.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
