A live hand grenade from the Korean War was found, identified and disposed of Monday. According to Col. Ed Blair of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, the grenade apparently was part of a collection of war memorabilia belonging to a veteran of the Korean War. After the man died, family members bought his home at 524 Hancock Lane, Thomasville, which is inside Randolph County.
