Mine action program MASAM has announced it had destroyed 955 ladmines, IEDs, unexploded ordnance and remnants of war planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in Taiz governorate. Following the detonation of mines and other explosives, the Chief of Operations at Taiz Military Axis, Gen. Mohammed Al-Najjar expressed his gratitude and appreciation to MASAM for clearing the mine-contaminated lands in Taiz province.mines. For his part, the branch director of the Executive Center for Mine Management, Head of the Military Engineering Division, Brigadier General Engineer Arif Al-Qahtani, explained the importance of clearing mine-contaminated areas in the province, numbering 18 districts.
