Thực hiện dự án rà phá bom, mìn, vật liệu nổ sau chiến tranh trên địa bàn tỉnh Sơn La, giai đoạn 2023 – 2025, qua dò tìm, Công ty TNHH MTV Xử lý bom, mìn, vật nổ 319 đã phát hiện một quả bom còn sót lại sau chiến tranh nằm sâu dưới lòng ruộng khoảng 4m, tại bản Huổi Lắc, xã Chiềng Hặc, huyện Yên Châu.
Tuy đã trải qua thời gian dài vùi sâu dưới lòng đất nhưng chúng vẫn cực kỳ nguy hiểm, có thể phát nổ và gây thiệt hại đến tính mạng, tài sản của nhân dân bất cứ lúc nào.
