West Front Road, in Pagham, Bognor Regis, was closed on Tuesday (September 20) after a member of the public found unexploded ordinance. Emergency services were called at 3.50pm, and a police spokesperson said: “Officers put a cordon in place as a precaution, while Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams attended and carried out controlled detonations to safely dispose of the items.”
