Am Donnerstagvormittag fand die zehnjährige Schülerin in Rainbach im Mühlkreis im Bereich des Passbergers Steges die Granate in der Feldaist. In der Annahme, es handle sich um eine alte Vase, nahm die Schülerin die Granate mit nach Hause, hieß es seitens der Polizei.

La piccola raccoglie il suo tesoro e con fatica lo trasporta a casa. Giunta all’abitazione i genitori vedono l’oggetto e comprendono che si tratta di una bomba da mortaio risalente alla seconda guerra mondiale quindi allertano la Polizia. Sul posto giungono gli artificieri e rimuovono l’ordigno.
Die Wiener Polizei rät, sprengstoffverdächtige Gegenstände oder Kriegsmaterial nicht zu bergen, sondern den Auffindungsort zu merken oder markieren und sich in eine sichere Distanz zu begeben. Es sollten unverzüglich Einsatzkräfte unter den Nummern 133 oder 112 verständigt werden. Sprengstoffverdächtige Gegenstände und Kriegsmaterial dürfen nicht manipuliert, gewaschen oder bewegt werden.
