Tiếp nhận thông tin, Đội xử lý bom mìn lưu động đã có mặt tại hiện trường để triển khai công tác xử lý. Hai quả bom được phát hiện gồm: quả bom MK-82, có đường kính 274mm, dài 1,54m, nặng 227kg; quả bom M117, đường kính 406mm, dài 1,2m, nặng hơn 340kg.
