Puluhan mortir hingga granat nanas peninggalan Perang Dunia II, dimusnahkan Denpal XVI 1 Ternate. Selain mortir dan granat, anggota Denpal XVI 1 Ternate juga musnahkan ratusan butir peluru. Terdapat dua cara pemusnahan, amonisi Perang Dunia II oleh Denpal XVI 1 Ternate. Pemusnahan berlangsung di galian C Kelurahan Takome, Kecamatan Pulau Ternate, pada Senin (5/12/2022). Ikut disaksikan langsung juga oleh, Dadenpal XVI 1 Ternate, Letkol Cpl Budi Santoso. Pasi Log Korem 152 Baabullah Ternate, Kapten Inf Salim. Danunit Intel 3 Tim Intelrem 152 Baabullah Ternate, Letda Inf Basuki Rahmad. Dan Kasi Pencegahan Kembakaran Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran Ternate, Iskandar Wahid. Para pendukung Anggota Denpal XVI 1 Ternate, Denpom XVI 1 Ternate, Denkesyah Ternate.
