Neeksplodirana bomba iz Drugog svjetskog rata teška 250 kilograma pronađena je u utorak popodne tokom radova na gradilištu u Prevorškovoj ulici u Mariboru. Policija je obezbijedila mjesto, a danas će pripadnici Državne jedinice za zaštitu od neeksplodiranih ubojitih sredstava i civilne zaštite pokušati da neutrališu i uklone bombu. Policija Maribora zamolila je medije da ne prilaze mjestu pronalaska, radi svoje bezbjednosti. Maribor je bio jedan od najviše bombardovanih gradova u bivšoj Jugoslaviji tokom Drugog svjetskog rata.

Maribor, 12 January – An unexploded Second World War bomb has been found at a construction site in Maribor. The site has been cordoned off as a precaution and a bomb disposal team will neutralise and remove the device, which weighs 250 kilos, on Sunday.
Tudi tako stara in zarjavela neeksplodirana ubojna sredstva lahko pomenijo smrtno nevarnost, kemična sestava eksploziva je namreč nestabilna in sprožilni mehanizem v sredstvu načet. O najdbi nevarnega predmeta čim prej obvestimo center za obveščanje na telefonsko številko 112 ali policijo na številko 113.
