Wycombe Road was closed and homes were evacuated after a WW1 shell was found. A cordon was in place and people were being asked by Thames Valley Police to follow diversions. Thames Valley Police Wycombe’s Twitter account confirmed the news in a tweet: “A road closure is in place at Wycombe Road, Princes Risborough, at the junction with Station Road and Bell Street, and the junction with New Road, after discovery of a WW1 shell.
