West Yorkshire Police have issued a statement after a ‘hand grenade’ was found at a Seacroft home as cops stormed the house. Police taped off the junction of Ramshead Approach and Ramshead Drive at around 12.55pm after an object, believed to be a hand grenade, was found by officers as they searched the home. The bomb squad was also called to the scene and Eastdean Road was closed. The tape remained in place for several hours while an investigation took place. The bomb squad arrived and deemed the device to be of no threat.
