A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were notified at around 9.15am to Albony Street in Devonport after construction workers unearthed an unexploded bomb, believed to be from WW2.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
