Un residente trova in spiaggia un oggetto “strano”. L’uomo allerta la Polizia che giunta sul posto si rende conto di trovarsi al cospetto di una granata illuminante o come afferma la fonte al fosforo. L’ordigno è stato distrutto in un cava di Barnstable.

Due to the possibility of phosphorous still inside the tube, the bomb squad transported the item to the Town of Barnstable Landfill in Marstons Mills to render the device safe.  The flare was detonated shortly after 3 p.m.
