A section of beach in Cornwall is cordoned off while reports of an unexploded bomb are investigated. An area of Tolcarne Beach at Newquay has been sealed off by HM Coastguard today (Sunday, January 28). A member of the public is understood to have alerted coastguard this morning about the presence of an ordnance, possibly an unexploded wartime bomb. It is understood the Royal Navy bomb disposal team from Plymouth is on its way to the beach.
