Bomb disposal experts were called to a Hull park after a grenade and bullets were found. Bilton Grange residents were left worried as police and the bomb disposal unit made their way to Alderman Kneeshaw Park on Wednesday afternoon. Upon arrival, a grenade and bullets were discovered in the area, prompting a police cordon to be put in place. The explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) unit removed the weapon and the area has since been made safe. Humberside Police confirmed that an investigation is now taking place to discover the origins of this grenade. A Humberside Police spokesman said: “We received a call from a member of the public about an object found, thought to be an unexploded grenade, in Alderman Kneeshaw Park earlier today.
