A resident called police at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 20 about a grenade he had found in his father’s house. The man was cleaning out his deceased father’s house when he discovered the World War II-style pineapple grenade in its original packing tube. He said his father was in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.
