“If you ever come across anything suspicious like this item, please do not pick it up, contact your local law enforcement agency for assistance”
A spokesperson for the Selsey Coastguard Rescue Team said:
“Ordnance comes in all different shapes and sizes, if you come across anything suspicious or unusual on the beach, please don’t touch it and dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard. “Ordnance found on this beach in the past has been found to still be highly explosive, so please do not touch it and call the Coastguard straight away.”

Il team EOD della Royal Navy, ricordano ai lettori della nostra fonte di non toccare residuati spiaggiati dalle maree ma di allertare il 999.
