Het bleek te gaan om een niet afgeschoten schutsgranaat uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Op het projectiel stond het jaartal 1904. De politie adviseert mensen om bij vondst van een mogelijk explosief het niet aan te raken, maar direct de politie te bellen.
