The explosion was on the outskirts of the western Nashwah neighborhood on the road between Abyadh and Jabal Abdul Aziz, Syria’s state-run SANA reported. The agency put the death toll at one and described the seven injured as critical. Hasaka is the northeasternmost governorate in Syria, 58 kilometers from the Iraqi border.
