Penemuan benda berbahaya itu berlokasi di RT 11 Kelurahan Juata Kerikil, Minggu (22/5/2022). Saat diwawancarai TribunKaltara.com, Senin (23/5/2022), Kistaya menjelaskan bom tersebut secara kasat mata diperkirakan berdiameter sekitar 80-an sentimeter dan panjang 1,5 meter. “Itu belum diukur dan masih dikira-kira saja. Lebih besar dari penemuan dari sebelumnya di Sebengkok kemarin,” ujarnya. Penemuan benda menyerupai bom di RT 11 Kelurahan Juata Kerikil dibenarkan Kapolsek Tarakan Utara. Dikatakan Kapolsek Tarakan Utara, AKP Kistaya yang diwawancarai TribunKaltara.com, Senin (23/5/2022), benda tersebut secara kasat mata diperkirakan berdiameter sekitar 80-an sentimeter dan panjang 1,5 meter. “Itu belum diukur dan masih dikira-kira saja. Lebih besar dari penemuan dari sebelumnya di Sebengkok kemarin,” ujarnya. Ia menambahkan, diperkirakan bom tersebut masih aktif dan ada pemicunya. “Ini sejenis bom pesawat karena ada baling-balingnya di belakang. Itu kalau kena benda keras bisa meledak,” ujarnya. Radius ledakan diperkirakan berdasarkan informasi yang diterima pihaknya bisa sampai lebih dari 5 kilometer.
