Granat itu ditemukan oleh seorang warga, Suparno (46) warga Dukuh Terban RT 8/3, Jenggrik, Kedawung. Benda peledak itu ditemukan tanpa sengaja saat ia hendak menanam pohon pisang di kebun milik Suratno (50) warga Sine Sragen yang berlokasi di Dukuh Terban, Jenggrik, Kedawung.
