n her letter to Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider on May 4, then-DPL Secretary Marianne Concepcion-Teregeyo said the study conducted by AMPRO LLC indicated that the proposed relocation site was used during World War II as an Army Air Corps ordnance storage facility in support of the Northfield B29 flight operations. It was found out that “a high potential exists for the site to have unexploded ordnance…remaining in the area as a result of these activities.”

Infatti durante la seconda guerra mondiale il sito avrebbe ospitato il deposito munizioni dell’Esercito a supporto del “9th Bombardment Group B-29 North Field Tinian”.
