Nella Contea di Josephine, Comune di Grants Pass nonna e nipote mentre escono di casa, trovano una bomba risalente alla seconda guerra mondiale. La donna la raccoglie e si avvia con il nipote in direzione della caserma di Polizia, luogo in cui la consegna tra le mani di un gruppo di stupefatti agenti. Naturalmente la caserma è evacuata.

According to authorities on the scene, a grandmother and her grandson found the device while they were moving out of a home. They believe the old piece of ordinance was produced in the 1940s, probably during World War II. The two citizens thought that they should turn the grenade over to law enforcement, and they drove it across town to drop it off at the GPDPS building, which is used by both police and firefighters.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
