Bomb disposal experts are investigating the device after it was found by rail workers close to the railway line in Frampton Mansell, Gloucestershire, at around 11:30 BST. Train services between Swindon and Gloucester are returning to normal but some services have been delayed. Officers have cordoned off the area and the army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team are at the scene, police said. “We are currently at the scene of a suspected explosive device,” a spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said. “The bomb disposal team are assessing the item.” All railway lines have now re-opened but disruption is expected until about 16:00. “Stagecoach West are conveying passengers between Gloucester and Stroud via Stonehouse in both directions until further notice,” said a spokesperson for Great Western Railway.
