An unexploded World War II bomb caused Sainsbury’s in Gloucester to evacuate customers and roads in the area to be closed this afternoon. Bomb disposal teams arrived at the site to deal with the explosive device, which has since been taken away to be disposed of.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
