A 63-year-old farmer named Kuch Kin took a machine to dig a hole in his field and found a series of bullets and informed the local authority to come and inspect. The local police confirmed that unexploded ordnance was found while the farmer was clearing the land to expand cultivation in Boeung Sangke village, Khleang Meas commune, Bavel district, Battambang. The same source said that the unexploded ordnance that was found was a remnant of the war, including bullets for various calibre of guns n rockets. Under the guidance of Major General Sat Kimsan, Battambang Provincial Police Commissioner urged the specialized force to cooperate with CMAC officials as soon as possible to take action. Rasmei News
