Properties were evacuated after a hand grenade was found on Tuesday morning at an industrial estate. West Mercia Police said a cordon was placed around Rotherwas Industrial Estate in Hereford, with nearby properties evacuated as a precaution.The device was made safe by expert officers from Explosive Ordnance Disposal, the force added. The cordon has since been removed and people have returned to their properties.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
