An angler was stunned after he reeled in unexploded bombs while fishing in a West Country lake. Apex Park in Highbridge, near Burnham-on-Sea, was sealed off for several hours on Tuesday after suspected ordnance was found in the water. The discovery was made by a magnet fisherman who was spending a few hours in the afternoon sunshine at the lake. Police were called and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team from Salisbury alerted, reports Somerset Live.
