Ce mardi, une habitante de Trois-Ponts a contacté le poste de police de Stavelot. Cette habitante d’une soixantaine d’années du Champ des Pierres se demandait quelle était la marche à suivre pour se débarrasser d’obus. En effet, elle a découvert plusieurs obus sur sa propriété lors de travaux de terrassement effectués il y a… 10 jours.
Comune Trois-Ponts. Una residente durante lavori di sterro effettuati nel campo di proprietà trova 10 proiettili d’artiglieria probabilmente risalenti alla prima guerra mondiale. I residuati non procurano fastidio alla signora la quale per 9 giorni continua a lavorare e convivere con le bombe inesplose. Il giorno successivo (il decimo giorno trascorso dalla scoperta dei proiettili) la donna vede in quelle granate un intoppo al suo lavoro, quindi telefona alla stazione di polizia di Stavelot e all’agente che risponde al telefono <<cosa devo fare per eliminare i residuati dal mio campo?>> Ovviamente non possiamo conoscere la risposta dell’agente di Polizia, ma immaginiamo il suo pensiero.

DOVO waarschuwt daarom voor het potentieel gevaar en raadt aan om de politie te contacteren bij aantreffen van deze of andere oorlogstuigen. “In dit geval gaat het om een afgevuurd projectiel met gewapend ontstekingsmechanisme. Elke aanraking of verplaatsing kan gevaarlijk zijn”, waarschuwt DOVO.
